Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Engineers and/or technicians in improving our processes across people, service, quality and cost.
  • Liaise with management and senior team within the business unit in developing strategic goals and planning effectively.
  • Provide direction on product and process issues, while ensuring effective communication to key stakeholders.
  • Lead introduction of new products and processes, while managing close relationships with other departments both internally and externally within the corporation.
  • Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality.
  • Develops engineers / technician on technical and leadership competencies aligned to our culture.
  • Use our processes and systems to run the business, drive improvement and ensure compliance to requirements.
  • Maintain a valid capacity model and conduct adequate advance planning for required capital funding aligned with production requirements.
  • Project planning, in detail, in support of major projects, product/process transfer; managing budget, timelines and resources.
  • Evaluates in conjunction with EHS new equipment/processes/chemicals for environmental impact/effect to eliminate or lessen such impacts/effects.
