Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
2 to 3 years of buying or merchandising experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills, works well cross functionally
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Dance experience preferred.
Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to prioritize and be flexible to changes in priorities when necessary
Understand concept to consumer development
Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

Assist Merchants in leveraging business analytics to drive sales and revenue goals within your area of responsibility.
Recommend assortment details, including color, sizing, and pricing, based on financial history, brand strategy, competitive analysis, and emerging trends, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product initiatives.
Conduct thorough research and analysis on competitors and industry trends, utilizing this expertise to inform product recommendations and maintain a competitive edge.
Support Merchants and Inventory Planners in forecasting in-season sales and reorder products based on sales history, trends, and customer feedback.
Contribute to Proto reviews to ensure all products meet or surpass customer expectations, and manage data within assortment planning tools, effectively communicating merchandising information to cross-functional teams.
Uphold timelines throughout the product development cycle and exhibit strong leadership skills by confidently sharing merchandising strategies and processes with peers and management, fostering relationships and influencing outcomes.
