Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager will play an integral part in leading projects within the Structural Heart Valve business. Scope of projects includes all product support activities as it pertains to the product life cycle for the Acurate Aortic Valve System
  • The Project Manager will provide leadership to an interdisciplinary and international team of professionals.
  • Work directly with supporting cross-functions across business units and manufacturing sites. Cross-functional teams include, but not limited to, Research & Development, Design Assurance, Packaging, Regulatory, Process Development, Operations, Supplier Engineering/Quality, Supply Chain and Clinical.
  • Manages small cross-functional development teams (with assistance); leads teams effectively; provides input to functional managers on team and team member performance.
  • Manages the technical challenges of technology application and new product development; identifies, communicates, and manages low levels of technical risk.
  • Manages key initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing processes; develops (with assistance) and implements project plan; builds team ownership and commitment to project plan.
  • Implements TDP/PDP; leads team to complete activities to current policies and practices; keeps documentation organized, creates Scaling Plan and Design History File for the project.
  • Responsible for team and cross-functional communications; liaison between the team and the PIB; leads (with assistance) phase and business reviews, project meeting minutes, issues log, metrics, and other key communications.
  • Responsible for team and cross-functional level communications.
  • Responsible for elevating critical business decisions to the appropriate management boards and/or functional managers.
