Responsibilities

  • As a band 5 Dietitian within ESHT you will be supported in clinical rotations across the acute and community settings. Duties include providing specialist advice to Stroke, Frailty, Surgery, Gastroenterology and Orthopaedics inpatients in the acute hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals and outpatient clinics. You will liaise closely with the patient’s relatives and carers regarding ongoing nutritional care and discharge planning. You will also provide expert nutritional advice and knowledge to the wider MDT. In community settings you will support patients in face to face clinics, via virtual/telephone clinics, as well as in their home and in care-home settings, to manage their oral and enteral nutritional requirements.
