Responsibilities

  • To complete 9 monthly rotations through Stroke Unit/Neuro, Stroke Early Supported Discharge (ESD), Farnham Community Hospital Rehab wards, Emergency Department (ED), Medical Wards
  • To provide a high standard physiotherapy service in assessing and treating patients who may have an acute, complex presentation.
  • To work alongside and communicate with Primary care providers and community services to ensure a safe rapid assessment and discharge of patients in an acute, fast paced environment.
  • To supervise and teach recently qualified physiotherapists / technicians / assistants and students and be involved in teaching MDT staff.
  • To participate in CPD and other departmental activities.
