What is the role of a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Sigma?
The BDR at Sigma is responsible for identifying high-priority target accounts, prospecting, educating, and qualifying those accounts to create sales-ready opportunities. They engage in consultative selling, overcome objections, and build relationships with prospects while collaborating with Account Executives.

BDRs at Sigma receive elite sales, product, and industry training, along with hands-on coaching from seasoned sales leaders. This mentorship is designed to help you develop a sales strategy, drive meaningful connections, and prepare for future sales leadership roles.
What qualifications are required for this position?
Candidates must have a 4-year degree or equivalent experience. The role also requires meticulous attention to detail, effective time management skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency with corporate productivity tools. Sales training and Salesforce experience are a plus.
What are the expectations for performance in this role?
BDRs are expected to consistently meet or exceed their quota of 10 qualified demos per month by actively prospecting and engaging with potential clients.
Is this position remote or in-office?
This is an in-office role, and the expectation is that employees come to the office five days a week. Sigma has offices located in both San Francisco and New York City.
What is the base salary for the Business Development Representative position?
The base salary for this position is $60,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
