Responsibilities

  • Case Management
  • Responsible for responding to and monitoring all incoming reports of discrimination, harassment, and sexual and gender-based misconduct at Drexel University.
  • Responsible for outreaching to potential complainants (students, employees, faculty, and third parties) under the University’s Discrimination, Harassment, and Bias Incident Prevention Policy (EIC-1) and Sexual and Gender-Based Harassment and Misconduct Policy (EIC-3) and providing them with resources, process information, and reasonable accommodations, as needed.
  • In coordination with the EIC Team, develop and coordinate the distribution of educational materials to the University community regarding reporting of discrimination and harassment based upon a protected category and/or sexual and gender-based harassment and misconduct and the prevention of such behavior.
  • Work with individuals affected by sexual and gender-based harassment and misconduct and other forms of discrimination and harassment to provide information, connection to resources, and options.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all EIC-1 and EIC-3 reports at the University and the University’s outreach, response, and process for each report using Maxient.
  • Act as a Liaison to the University’s Student Life team, Public Safety, Office of General Counsel, and Human Resource Business Partners as needed to ensure the proper flow of information between EIC, Student Conduct, Human Resources, and Public Safety.
  • Manage the collection and maintenance of records of the status of all open reports, interim measures, and resolutions requested or completed.
  • Compliance Analyst
  • Review and audit case files and make recommendations to the AVP, Title IX and EO Coordinator for improvement
  • Coordinate the development of compliance training for Title IX, Title VI, and Title VII for delivery to employees
  • Responsible for New Employee Orientation (new Dragon welcome) and overview of EIC-1 and EIC-3 reporting
  • Coordinate regular Title IX and EO Stakeholder monthly meetings
