Responsibilities

  • Analyze supplier pricing strategies and be pro active in proposing opportunities in close collaboration with the Commercial Analytics Team, Category Managers and data team.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to understand competitive pricing, industry trends, and supplier market conditions.
  • Benchmark our supplier’s pricing against industry standards and competitors to maintain competitiveness.
  • Monitor the performance of pricing strategies and adjust them as necessary to meet objectives (Prix versus benchmark / Average Selling Price Evolution / Total Revenue Evolution).
  • Prepare and present detailed pricing reports and analysis to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Formulate and implement comprehensive pricing strategies that align with the organization’s overall business objectives.
  • Ensure pricing strategies are adaptable to market changes and competitive landscapes.
  • Utilize analytics to gather insights and make informed pricing decisions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to pricing, such as market volatility, supplier dependency, and currency fluctuations.
  • Drive, in close collaboration with Procurement Controlling Director continuous improvement initiatives in pricing processes and methodologies.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and innovations in pricing to implement improvements within the organization.
