Responsibilities

  • The Clerical Associate assumes responsibility for all clerical functions on a nursing unit, including the transcription of all physician orders
  • Transport of specimens
  • Room turnover/set up
  • Stocking rooms
  • Escorting patients to assigned patient care areas
  • SMS registration of patients
  • Registration of patients as needed
