  • Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 6, £37,099 - £44,263 per annum, pro rata and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

  • You will join the Institute of Education for Healthcare and Medical Sciences (IEHMS) as one of a team of academic, administrative and clerical staff who support the medicine degree programme.
  • This is part of a team of clinical staff who support the delivery of high quality undergraduate medical education in both the clinical environment of wards, clinics and other appropriate areas as well as simulated clinical environments in training areas.
  • You will join a multi-professional team of experienced staff from a range of clinical backgrounds including medicine, nursing and the allied health professions, all of whom are responsible for the development and delivery of innovative and high-quality learning experiences for medical undergraduate students.
  • This post will be based in the Clinical Skills Centre which is part of the Suttie Centre for Teaching and Learning in Healthcare, on the Foresterhill site.
  • Your line manager will be Moraig Gordon, Clinical Educator, and through them you will be responsible to the Lead of Clinical Placements, Undergraduate Team Lead of Clinical Skills and Director of IEHMS.
  • You will also maintain close links with NHS Grampian’s Senior Nurse for Professional Development purposes.
