What is the role of the Band 7 CAMHS Clinician at the Wandsworth Single Point of Access (SPA) CAMHS service?
The Band 7 CAMHS Clinician will be a key clinician within the CAMHS SPA, responsible for triaging referrals, conducting mental health assessments, and collaborating with multi-agency colleagues to support children and adolescents experiencing mental health and neurodevelopmental difficulties.
What are the minimum qualifications required for this position?
Candidates must be registered with a professional body and hold relevant experience in working with children and young people presenting with mental health or neurodevelopmental challenges in a CAMHS setting. This includes HCPC registered Clinical Psychologists/Counselling Psychologists, or Registered Mental Health Nurses.
Is previous experience working in a multi-disciplinary team necessary?
Yes, experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team and with multi-agency professionals is a requirement for this role.
