What are the primary responsibilities of a Coating Machine Operator at the Prime/Blasting station?
The primary responsibilities include operating the Prime/Coating/Blasting station, performing coating applications as per standard procedures, visually inspecting pipes for suitability, conducting qualification tests, recording daily production and quality assurance reports, and following all company policies and procedures.
What types of coating applications will I be performing?
You will perform Prime, Coating (both powder and liquid), and Blast applications as per the NOV Tuboscope Standard Operating Procedure.
How should I handle production flow disturbances or irregularities?
If you notice any disturbances or irregularities in the production flow, you should inform the Coating Plant Supervisor or their designee immediately.
Will I need to document my work?
Yes, you are required to record daily production reports, quality assurance/control reports, and all other necessary reports regarding operations.
What safety and quality standards must I adhere to?
You must follow all the Company Health, Safety, Environment Management System (HSEMS), Quality Management System (QMS), policies, and procedures.
Is there a possibility of performing additional duties?
Yes, you may be assigned other duties by the Plant Manager or their designee as needed.
