What qualifications are preferred for this role?
A Bachelor's degree with a major in Human Resources, business, or a related field is required. A Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is preferred.
How much experience is required for the Compensation Specialist position?
A minimum of five (5) years of human resources experience in compensation, classification, or job evaluation is required, with a preference for HR experience in organizations with both union and non-union employees.
