Responsibilities

  • Executes control design assessments, monitoring design assessments and testing design assessments for controls operated by their ICRM coverage area, in line with the applicable Standard and Procedure.
  • Handles exceptions communicated by the control effectiveness testers, including reviewing the outcomes with the Control Owners.
  • Develops and provides training specific to the controls within their coverage (and related process and risks) to the control effectiveness testers within the STU testing utility.
  • Helps drive continuous improvements in accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and quality of control design assessments and controls testing.
  • Takes responsibility for their own book of work and prioritizes potentially competing deliverables.
  • Supports training of assessment officers on processes, systems, and execution of control assessment activities, which may include cross-training onshore and offshore staff across the STU.
  • Maintains relationships and drives accountability with partners, peers and other stakeholders to drive control assessment and testing's success in support of the ICRM’s strategy.
  • Supports other relevant work efforts of the RACD team where needed and as directed by their manager.
