Responsibilities

  • To Support the delivery of our brand sales, share, profit and gm% at least to plan
  • To develop and implement best in class & high-impact, multi-channel segmented shopper strategies and plans aligned to category, brand and retailer strategies.
  • Support customer facing contact representing brand to translate strategy and objectives into clear retailer specific activation plans that drive consumer recruitment, retention and loyalty.
  • Analyze own, customer and shopper data to gain insights on shopper behavior per channel. Measure and report on results with quantitative and qualitative analysis in order to inform the GBI marketing team and optimize future efforts.
  • Work in cross-functional regional and local teams to build category leading expert marketing customer strategies and activations, that will deliver value for customers, shoppers and consumers.
  • Support the delivery of brand sales, share, profit and gm% at least to plan across categories on all Irish retail channels (Pharmacy, Grocery, e-commerce), with shopper accountability for the pan Ireland business, including Northern Ireland.
  • Take the global shopper toolkits and deploy to maximum effect within Pan Ireland creating high impact brand presence in the relevant shopper touchpoints.
  • Where Global shopper toolkits are not suitable for local activation, create cost effective, high impact shopper presence across Grocery, Pharmacy and e-commerce.
  • Working with insights, analyze shopper/category/retailer research on key shopper campaigns as required. Bring strong Irish insight into competitor activity plus retailer, category and shopper needs to maximize the impact of our toolkits.
  • Monitor all KPIs relative to Marketing efforts and customer value creation, providing regular feedback to the global category and brands. Evaluate shopper/retailer activation to ensure we are spending money efficiently/continually improving and delivering ROI to the business, with continuous improvement.
  • Create powerful relationships with our National Accounts to optimize the most impactful and effective shopper solutions including at least 6 face to face customer meetings p.a.
  • Manage the shopper budget and monthly forecasting and phasing of spend.
  • Create the expert marketing plan that will drive sell-out and sell-in with our customers. Organise and attend expert events, conferences, webinars and training workshops.
  • Create the local NPD execution plans including input on pricing and alignment with GB. Responsibility for range ladders and promotional guidelines/strategy (In partnership with NRM lead).
  • Define e-commerce growth plan, advising Irish e-comm lead of brand priorities and roll-out e-comm assets.
  • Support the development of field sales (training, sales aids, samples…).
  • Supporting the 3rd party management (Expert Dental).
