Responsibilities

  • Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Collecting, cleaning and structuring data and coordinating with the Meter Data Management and the Business Solutions teams.
  • Transforming data into a new format to make it more appropriate for analysis.
  • Building tools to automate data collection.
  • Analyzing large data sets for usable patterns and information.
  • Creating dashboards and live reports to share with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Employ data science toolkits to build utility predictive models.
  • Correlating similar data to find actionable results.
  • Understanding when a business problem can be completely or partially solved using data.
  • Turning business problems into a data science projects that solve that problem and presenting the results in a digestible form for decision makers.
  • Creatively incorporating open-source and web-based data sources into projects for improved insights.
  • Assess data quality and suitability for analytics and address issues with rigorously (e.g. with appropriate missing data imputation procedures for missing data).
  • Independently manage projects and work with stakeholders to lead projects to completion.
