  • requesting E3MP where responsible for the technical aspects of a project and address environmental actions as specified in E3MP (in conjunction with others)
  • ensuring that environmental actions as specified in E3MP are addressed
  • hydraulic analysis and design
  • structural design of pipelines/concrete structures
  • the consideration of buildability issues during design
  • outline design drawings (including site layouts, hydraulic profile, P & ID, SLD and process flow diagrams)
  • detail design information (detail drawings and specifications, as well as snagging lists for construction teams, as built drawings/plans, relevant test certificates, etc)
  • preparing design fee proposals and scheme programmes
  • submission of HAUC Permits
  • compliance with Construction and Design Management Regulations (CDM)
  • presenting designs to stakeholders with sufficient skill to ensure approval of what may be controversial issues.
