  detail design information (detail drawings and specifications, as well as snagging lists for construction teams, as built drawings/plans, relevant test certificates, etc)
  preparing design fee proposals and scheme programmes
  submission of HAUC Permits
  compliance with Construction and Design Management Regulations (CDM)
  presenting designs to stakeholders with sufficient skill to ensure approval of what may be controversial issues.
 
 What you'll need
 You will be a self-motivated individual with the ability to organise, plan and deliver the team's outputs to meet key target dates. It is essential that you are an effective and clear communicator at all levels.
 In addition, you will have:
 
  proven experience in designing water mains infrastructure
  computer literacy
  an understanding of operational infrastructure
  a HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
  business and commercial awareness
  a good working knowledge of our technical standards, people and systems
  a good knowledge and understanding of CDM regulations and the designer's role.
