Responsibilities

  • Carry out Site Surveys (using client site specific specifications).
  • Producing RFI's and TQ's.
  • Producing Concept Design Packages (for internal review).
  • Producing Detailed Design Packages (for external review).
  • For ensuring that company management systems and processes are adhered to.
  • To be proactively involved in supporting the Design Team and Construction Team throughout the duration of the project.
  • Proactively attend and input at HAZID/HAZCON/Design Assurance & Review Meetings.
  • For promoting good practice of Hazard removal or mitigation during the Design Phase.
  • Proactively manage Design Change Control, identify project risks and devise contingency plans.
  • Develop best practices and tools for design execution management.
  • Proactive communication with the Design Team & Project Management Team.
  • Proactive communication with the P6 Planners.
  • Be able to switch from one project to another should the priority change.
  • To mentor and develop new and existing engineers within their roles.
