Responsibilities

  • The Design Manager will be part of the Engineering & Technical function within the Civil Works Programme and responsible for the technical aspects of the end-to-end design process in their specific scope area.
  • The Design Manager will manage and co-ordinate the SZC Client and Responsible Designer inputs and requirements, manage technical change control, manage the technical assurance process to ensure delivery to quality and co-ordinate technical aspects with technical stakeholders, including EDF Nuclear Services Engineering (was PWRT TCO), SZC Design Authority, RD and L3 Design Supply Chain.
