Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent experience (min. Bachelor) e.g. in Information technology or similar
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in at least one of the following areas: Security Engineering, Software development, DevOps Engineering
  • Significant experience with software development with these technologies: Python web frameworks like Django/FastAPI, Javascript, Vue, REST APIs, OpenAPI.
  • Advanced technical system expertise with the following technologies: Linux, Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, Terraform, Gitlab CI, Elastic Search, Configuration Management(Ansible, Puppet).
  • Coding experience following the security standard methodologies over the common frameworks, OWASP, MITTRE.
  • Experience with IAM (OAuth2 / OpenID)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex technical systems with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a self-guided fashion with the clear desire to become an acknowledged technical specialist in your own area of expertise.
  • Good interpersonal skills: clear and concise communication; able to address collaborators and costumers of different backgrounds and technical expertise.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Knowledge or experience in some of the following areas are a plus:
  • Cloud Security expertise
  • Skills with SOC, CSIRT, CERT, Respond or similar security team
  • Experience in agile working SCRUM, Kanban or others.
  • Experience with Zero Trust architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Work on projects to provide solutions that will support to improve security at Siemens; primarily leading de transformation by coding and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with internal security teams to implement and automate security related processes.
  • Contribute improvements, ideas and features for our internal applications and processes.
  • Develop new features and integrate them into our applications.
  • Increase the automation in our environment and improve our CI/CD pipelines.
  • Operate and solve our applications on-premises and in the cloud.
