What is the primary responsibility of the Digital Engagement Officer?
The primary responsibility is to oversee the design and delivery of dynamic and engaging content on the Museum’s digital platforms, including website content, digital interactives, and social media.

The position will be based on-site at the Bank of England Museum.
What qualifications are required for this role?
Significant experience in planning and developing content for websites and social media in a cultural organization, as well as experience in developing audio guides and managing digital platforms.
Are there any specific software skills required for this job?
Yes, experience with Axiell Collections or other collections management software and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or creative packages like Canva are desirable.
What is the salary range for the Digital Engagement Officer position?
The salary for this role is circa £28,320-£31,860.
Will the Digital Engagement Officer need to conduct front-of-house shifts?
Yes, the jobholder will be expected to support other team members across a range of duties, including a small number of regular front-of-house shifts.
