Responsibilities

  • Key contact with MTP brokers, understanding their strategies & requirements and aligning their expectations with the strategy of QBE.
  • Develop and implement strategic broker distribution plans for MTP brokers that are in line with wider strategy and reflect global and local agreements
  • Contribute to, and influence the design of the Distribution Proposition, (including individual action plans and scorecards for MTP's), in line with the underwriting strategy and with the business plan of the Division
  • Responsible for ensuring MTP Broker activity is managed in line with strategy and to support delivery of business targets.
  • Manage and report on progress of Strategic Action Plans (New Business, renewal retention, product density and customer satisfaction) to ensure on target, identifying underperformance and implementing remedial solutions
  • Lead cross division broker initiatives and liaise with Regional / General managers & product leaders to ensure local broker activity is managed in line with strategy
  • Contribution of Salesforce to drive MTP engagement and Sales
  • Acting as a whole account view champion across the Division working closely with the Client Solutions Architects
  • Support management and product leaders to maximize broker leads, coordinating where appropriate ‘package solutions’ and the offering of multi class facilities
  • Participate at internal strategic & distribution meetings, broker workshops and representing QBE at external broker meetings
  • Engagement with key stakeholders across the business including product, claims, operations and finance in order to maintain a cohesive approach to brokers
  • Subject matter expert sharing best practice and to ensure on-going awareness of how EO initiatives will impact upon other business areas
  • Monitor and review QBE distribution performance to ensure progress toward business plan objectives
  • Actively coach and develop more junior / less experienced team members
  • Motivate and develop the team by demonstrating QBE values, and through the use of management best practice, facilitate development of team to support the achievement of business goals
