Responsibilities

  • Develop, sustain, and continuously improve critical metrics/KPIs to enhance leader insights (e.g., metrics dashboards) that empower GCO/USBO leaders to champion and embed DI&B in their business strategy.
  • Serve as a key execution lead for GCO U-Belong Journey, cultural initiatives, and inclusive leadership activities.
  • Facilitate functional workshops and offer insights relevant to cultural content, overviews, and selected “roadshow content”.
  • Maintain and archive records aligned with various prioritized projects (Rmrblty formerly #IAR, Inclusive Workshops).
  • Understanding of the USBO and GCO broader business goals to appropriately identify solutions and customize for business leaders.
  • Support GCO DI&B Lead with resource tools and activities associated with prioritized projects.
  • Collaborate with management on calendars and event planning for Town Halls, Inform Sessions, and Semester Meeting planning.
  • Streamline processes, simplify resources, and communicate with critical DI&B partners and Council collaborators updates that impact engagement or sustainment of resources.
  • Assist with monitoring specific GCO DI&B team email inboxes to answer broader initiative questions, provide information and/or resolve issues (DI&B Action Plan and Cultural Initiative Planning).
  • Manage project, timelines for milestones and workstream resources, and partners with cross-functional teams to identify & support improvement processes & practices.
  • Own enhancements and ongoing sustainment of cultural roundtables, strategic partnerships (internal/external) to include ways to continuously market these resources and drive utilization.
  • Support collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure the developed engagement initiatives are aligned with the business objective and enterprise long term efforts – using a tracker or planning tool(s).
  • Partner closely with the enterprise DIB as well as USBO HRBPs and Employment law on key activities and initiatives.
  • Establish project goals with GCO DI&B Director, manage timelines and performance metrics.
  • Support program management, scheduling, and recordkeeping for DI&B specific pillar support activities.
  • Build and sustain platforms to integrate key data points from different sources to better inform the value of GCO DI&B programs and efforts.
  • Manage the GCO DI&B budget in collaboration with leadership.
  • Engage in external benchmarking and research relevant to the work you own.
  • Propose and implement critical organizational change and engagement efforts that shape the culture for a more inclusive organization across GCO in close partnership with the regional DIB leads.
  • Serve as key point of contact and facilitator for GCO DI&B councils and functional working teams to help drive information and standard methodology sharing.
  • Contribute to facilitating processes and support mechanisms for onboarding of GCO staff, this includes continuous improvement practices in partnership with Talent Acquisition, and GCO Learning & Performance, ensuring there are resources available to embed DI&B “culture” initiatives in the onboarding framework.
  • Co-Lead strategy and plan for GCO DI&B internal to Amgen communications in alignment with Corporate Affairs and DI&B partners (e.g., channels, content calendar / communication plan, spotlight videos).
  • In partnership with GCO DI&B leadership and global Employee Resource Group (ERG) leads, drive communication and engagement of the USBO community.
