Responsibilities

  • Supporting Emergency Management Department with all administrative tasks including, scheduling meetings, filing, and meeting preparation.
  • Participating in development and review for emergency response plans.
  • Assisting in development of reports and presentations for external departments.
  • Ensuring all department communications are grammatically correct, accurate, and professional.
  • Working effectively under time constraints to meet deadlines and manage a number of different tasks concurrently.
  • Participating in the annual Hazard Vulnerability Process (data capture, analysis, mitigation and planning efforts, etc.)
  • Collaborating with EM, other BCH departments and external partners to complete action items identified during hospital response.
  • Reporting status of projects and action items at monthly meetings.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all Emergency Management supplies and inventories (Command Center, HazMat, Evacuation, Med/Surge Stockpile, etc.)
  • Serving in a 24/7 On Call capacity, on a rotating basis.
