Responsibilities

  • Assemble assigned project estimates for submission to the planning team.

  • Prepare comparative cost analysis and cost studies.
  • Identify site conditions, project risks, and cost-saving opportunities/alternatives.
  • Compile and analyze detailed cost data, assist in tracking market rates/trends.
  • Maintain and update the database of our unit rates.
  • Review tender results when required by the execution team.
  • Keep up to date on applicable standards for retail businesses, new regulations and best practices to ensure competitive, optimal project costs.
  • Perform administrative tasks and provide support as required by the direct supervisor.
  • Potential travel to sites might be required. Metro will compensate the expenses.
