Responsibilities

  • Independently plan and manage end to end in-person, virtual, and hybrid conferences/meetings/special events, with a focus on the Toronto Conference Centre, but also supporting the Montreal and Vancouver Conference Centres
  • Liaise directly with partners and key stakeholders on all event aspects
  • Co-ordinate all logistical aspects of meetings such as:
  • venue selection for offsite event components
  • technology selection and support for virtual events
  • review and approval of vendor contracts
  • cost projection and budget analysis for each event
  • online registration/event management
  • rooming lists
  • meeting room set-ups
  • IT and audio visual requirements
  • catering arrangements/menu selection
  • on-site registration
  • co-ordination of on-site simultaneous interpretation
  • ground transportation arrangements
  • supplier and vendor management
  • Collaborate with clients and share industry best practices
  • Ownership of process improvement projects, providing status updates and ensuring completion and implementation
  • Identify areas of improvement or opportunities for efficiencies in current processes and support operational duties for experience and operations as required
