Responsibilities

  • Planning and implementing the delivery of successful internal events (face to face, and virtual) you will complete tasks yourself but be confident to ask for support and delegate work
  • Provide strategic advice to stakeholders on feasibility of possible events
  • Communication with internal and external contacts to make sure their expectations match what we are delivering
  • Negotiation with suppliers/venues to ensure best value solutions
  • Keeping clients up to date with the progression of the event and any tasks that are required of them
  • Producing detailed plans for events (timelines, venue/rooms and budgets)
  • Booking internal and external rooms and arranging catering and facility requirements such as AV
  • Building a portfolio of trusted suppliers and venues for future events
  • Working with multiple agencies to ensure smooth working processes and that cost efficiencies are fully utilised (expand on this to capture the venue contracts and procurement piece)
  • To utilise the firm’s CRM database and email marketing systems to draft/send invitations and other communications and to monitor responses
  • Utilising social media where appropriate to raise profile of the business
  • Managing and reporting on event feedback and ensuring ROI for all events in order to create best practice guidelines for future events
  • Attend events as appropriate and provide agile advice to ensure the smooth running of the firm events
