This in turn, is part of a 58 strong national Marketing team and you will work alongside the KLD, Procurement and the Senior Management team.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The activities&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Planning and implementing the delivery of successful internal events (face to face, and virtual) you will complete tasks yourself but be confident to ask for support and delegate work&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Provide strategic advice to stakeholders on feasibility of possible events&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Communication with internal and external contacts to make sure their expectations match what we are delivering&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Negotiation with suppliers/venues to ensure best value solutions&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Keeping clients up to date with the progression of the event and any tasks that are required of them&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Producing detailed plans for events (timelines, venue/rooms and budgets)&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Booking internal and external rooms and arranging catering and facility requirements such as AV. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Building a portfolio of trusted suppliers and venues for future events&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Working with multiple agencies to ensure smooth working processes and that cost efficiencies are fully utilised (expand on this to capture the venue contracts and procurement piece)&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;To utilise the firm’s CRM database and email marketing systems to draft/send invitations and other communications and to monitor responses&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Utilising social media where appropriate to raise profile of the business&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Managing and reporting on event feedback and ensuring ROI for all events in order to create best practice guidelines for future events&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Attend events as appropriate and provide agile advice to ensure the smooth running of the firm events&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The person&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;Given the responsibilities of this role, it’s likely that your background and experience will include:&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Excellent IT skills – office software, web systems, app based software, CRM databases, Zoom, video editing software, YouTube&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Evidence of advanced negotiation skills&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Evidence of excellent organisational skills, ability to delegate and attention to detail&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Evidence of excellent communication skills&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Experience in an events/project management role&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;The role also requires someone who:&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;is flexible for early starts and late finishes when events are planned&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;is self-managed and confident in setting and prioritising their own work agenda. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The package&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;As you’d expect, we offer a competitive salary and a wide range of benefits.
