Responsibilities

  • Under general supervision of the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects related to facility infrastructure, validation/qualification, maintenance and improvements of equipment in compliance with our internal procedures, policies and regulatory requirements including regular self-inspection, reporting and issue handling.
  • Co-ordinate with departments and external vendors concerned regarding issues relating to maintenance repair, maintenance, installation of fabrications of maintenance works, preparing cost estimates of repair works, work specifications, invitation of quotation.
  • Develop and enforce workplace safety procedures, policies and procedures, safety campaigns and programs.
  • Periodically inspect the facility to detect maintenance needs or potential accident and health hazards, recommending corrective or preventive measures where indicated.
  • Drive investigation of accidents, incidents, compliance deviations and enforcement actions and work with operations regarding corrective and/or preventive measures.
  • Periodically perform tests to assure facility and equipment respond as expected in case of an incident (e.g. Power Failure Test, Alarm Test, etc).
  • Manage calibration schedule and review certificates and results to assure facility instruments are kept calibrated within acceptable deviation range.
  • Periodically write, print or generate reports (e.g. Temperature Report, Access Control Report, Facility inspection, Calibration report) to assure proper filled documentation.
  • Investigate equipment incidents looking for root causes to propose preventive action to avoid the same incident to happen again.
  • Propose, plan, supervise implementation and record facilities and equipment changes, assuring change control and facility improvement.
  • Review facility and equipment drawings and documentation to assure it is accurate.
  • With QA and Engineering Support perform Temperature Mapping including protocol, temperature sensor placement, equipment configuration, reports and assessment.
  • Train other associates on facilities and equipment process and operation as well as authorized access to facility areas.
  • Support the Branch Manager on Budget estimation and follow-up.
  • Be available for on call duty in case of incident when the stored products are on risk.
  • Consult with other departments on design and use of equipment, fire prevention and work safety program.
