Responsibilities

  • The scope of responsibilities will include ownership of our key strategic & tactical contracts on communications, operationalization, performance, and compliance.
  • Create overall awareness about contracts content and general approach to execution based on contracted terms.
  • Conducting contract handovers to ensure internal stakeholders understand relevant contractual terms and conditions.
  • Accountable to ensure rate management systems & contract visibility dashboards are timely maintained.
  • Translating the contract into business usable format for execution of Service Level Agreements, payment terms, contract master data etc.
  • Drive contractual compliance by implementing action plans for non-compliant contracts in collaboration with procurement managers.
  • Accountable to ensure contract renewals & signature processes are done on time.
  • Accountable to drive payment performance in collaboration with Procure to Pay teams.
  • Responsible for development and maintenance of feeder performance KPI dashboard.
  • Establish and enforce clear alignment of roles and responsibilities for performance management across stakeholders, ensuring accountability and maximising performance outcomes.
  • Ensure awareness about Legal and Compliance guidelines and policies, including but not limited to Global Authority Matrix. Actively identify and suggest areas for improvement, and clearly communicate and reinforce any changes in compliance guidelines related to sourcing processes.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate, optimize and digitize contract performance management processes.
  • Ensure that execution of Service Level Agreements, its governance & compliance are in place and managed in accordance with contracted terms by our Sourcing & Ocean Fulfilment teams and suppliers.
  • Maximize contract value by providing visibility on contracted risk/opportunities and drive the outcomes with key stakeholders in Operations, Market & Procurement teams.
  • Ensure that improvements points on Service Level Agreements, contract value & compliance from execution cycle of the contract incorporated into next cycle of renegotiation.
  • Act as the focal point for contractual dispute escalation with suppliers during execution of the contracts.
  • Ensure that our ESG screening & improvement plans with suppliers are performance managed and progress as per plans in alignment with Sourcing, Ocean Fulfilment & Sustainable procurement teams.
  • Drive continuous process improvement together with our suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Accountable for coordination of the Terminal cost plans together with Terminal Sourcing team and Procurement Finance Business Partner during both budget period and month-on-month delivery of Gameplans.
  • Support sourcing where and when required on additional contracting activities.
  • Support to Head of Ocean Contract Management, Ocean & Contract Management community to deliver on global Contract Management plans.
  • Build close relations with global transformation teams members, global community and foster One Procurement Maersk mindset.
