Responsibilities

  • Working with various stakeholders across the Corporate functions, Weir Business Services and Divisions to understand and document current assurance landscape associated with financial reporting ensuring documentation and controls are sufficient.
  • Identify key controls and create proposal for internal consultation.
  • Work alongside the Group Internal Audit team as appropriate and particularly to review and redesign the processes that support current self-attestation and controls compliance testing and associated reporting.
  • Work alongside Group Finance Technical team to ensure controls documentation and policies are kept up to date and readily available to all required stakeholders; ensure changes are communicated to all required stakeholders in a timely manner. Provide necessary training and support to required stakeholders.
