The main responsibilities include preparing and processing journal entries, month-end and year-end close tasks, reconciling and analyzing balance sheet and P&L accounts, ensuring compliance with local GAAP and US GAAP, preparing quarterly and annual financial reports, and supporting external audit activities.
What qualifications are required for this position?
A business degree and/or professional accountancy qualification, relevant work experience (at least 8 years) in an international company or audit firm, technical accounting knowledge of UK GAAP is required, and familiarity with US GAAP/IFRS is a plus.
What language skills are needed for this role?
Fluency in both German and English is required for this position.
