Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets, including five-year strategic plan.
  • Track financial spend for capital projects and updates forecasts.
  • Interact with product teams to ensure timely and accurate project plans and forecasts.
  • Analyze month-end variances and submits explanations timely to management and accounting/finance organization.
  • Prepare month-end journal entries, including re-classes, accruals, prepaid entries, and amortization schedules.
  • Develop and maintain monthly reports for operating teams and management teams.
  • Ensure department invoices are monitored and coded appropriately based on chart of accounts.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and presentations as needed.
  • Organize and conduct meetings with key project and operational leaders to review budget status, monitor scope commitments, and escalate potential risks promptly.
  • Act as the departmental liaison to Accounting, Corporate Planning, and other departments as needed.
  • Partner with Key Project Stakeholders to prepare required financial support for Capital Appropriation Request (CAR) submissions & CAR amendments.
  • Support overall technology organization financial goals/objectives.
