You are the connecting link between the Front Office (Assistant) Manager, shiftleaders and all the receptionists. If a receptionist cannot solve a complaint or answer a question, you jump in to help. Moreover, you help your colleagues where necessary, although you do not always stand behind the front desk. You do make sure – together with the entire team – that everything goes according to plan and that you neatly hand over the shift to the colleagues who take over at the end of your shift. In this way “the reception” is always kept up to date with the stay of our guests. Administrative tasks are also on your plate, which include, processing and checking of payments, and preparing and carrying out two annual evaluations of the personnel. This you do together with the Front Office (Assistant) Manager. The supporter of the reception. Is it busy? Then you jump right in! Also the helping hand of all the receptionists, by being a mentor through your guidance and trainings. Responsible for all administrative tasks involved in the front office. Thanks to your great sense of responsibility, you know what the team of receptionists need to fulfil their tasks. You notice when your colleagues are overflowed with work and when it is busy, and you keep a cool head. With your empathy, you make sure the guests have a good stay and that the reception is exceptionally helping them.
