Responsibilities

  • The post holder will be working within the laboratory teams/ subsections, working to support a range of patients requiring cancer, prenatal and rare disease testing.
  • The post holder will perform routine genetic testing using well-established and cutting-edge new technologies and analyses as directed by the Section Lead, responsible Clinical Scientist, or Lead Genetic Technologist. Other routine laboratory tasks may be allocated as necessary.
  • Post holders will be expected at all times to behave in accordance with our values demonstrating commitment to the delivery of high-quality services to patients.
