Responsibilities

  • Proactively drive with Fabrics Global Communications & External Affairs Leader and regional leaders the implementation of the Fabrics communications strategy and contribute to the Fabrics communications plan to reach internal and external audiences through varied media and channels
  • Support regional issues management and crisis communication needs as an advisor to regional business teams managing large, complex change management customer communications and merger, acquisition, and divestiture strategies
  • Serve as a skilled, knowledgeable communications consultant to regional leaders and other Fabrics employees on messaging, development, timing and delivery of internal communications
  • Facilitate translation of communications materials, if applicable, and serve as the point of contact to facilitate divisional communications to applicable regions
  • Conduct interviews/research to gather & validate information
  • Support internal education and external advocacy efforts by serving as a skilled, knowledgeable communications lead and spokesperson on topics that have the potential to impact the reputation of Gore Fabrics, positively or negatively, especially those related to fluoromaterial stewardship, corporate responsibility and sustainability, and public policy
  • Serve as a member of the Gore Fabrics incident response and issues management team, providing support for local incident response
