What is the primary role of the Graphic Designer?
The primary role of the Graphic Designer is to provide services in support of the overall functions of the Associate Director of Management and Operations at the Vaccine Research Center (VRC), NIH, which includes developing visual communication products, branding materials, and content for internal and external messaging.
What is the location of the job?
This is a full-time onsite position supporting the NIH office in Bethesda, MD.
What education is required for this position?
A Bachelor’s Degree is required for this position.
How many years of experience are required?
A minimum of one (1) year of experience in Commercial Art and Graphic Design or related fields is required.
What kind of software skills are necessary for this role?
Applicants should have demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.), SharePoint, publishing software, graphic design software, and/or illustration software such as BioRender, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva.
Is prior experience with the NIH preferred?
Yes, previous experience with the NIH would be nice to have.
What is the salary range for this position?
The annual salary range for this position is $49,800.00 to $74,800.00.
