Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and test new features and functionality to improve the user experience
  • Create a consistent look and feel across designs, color palettes, typography, iconography, and user interface elements
  • Contribute to the design process, standards, style guide, and best practices for the Whirlpool Sales & Service Learning & Development Team
  • Continuous attention to process improvement and change management implementation
  • Support and foster an atmosphere that encourages design collaboration
  • Communicate ideas to a group of internal stakeholders, explaining rationale behind design decisions
  • Collaborate with retail partners to improve our brand's presence on their sites
  • Work to adapt and refine US developed content and experiences for Canadian content
  • Create banners, iconography, ads and other assets to bring to life brand activities
  • Design interfaces and user experiences for all of Whirlpool’s brands and products for both B2C touchpoints and B2B digital touchpoints
  • Identify areas of opportunities for clients and solve functional challenges through brainstorming, ideating, and designing digital solutions
  • Lend design advice to marketing teams and other departments where needed.
