Responsibilities

  • Ensure all communications and marketing materials support the organization’s brand and image and promote achievement of the organization’s objectives.
  • Make recommendations based on the needs of the project.
  • Advance the brand according to evolving brand guidelines.
  • Plan, manage and execute projects and work with a cross-functional group of stakeholders to ensure deliverables are creative, effective and reflect high quality work.
  • Contribute meaningfully to communications plans with creative ideas and new approaches that break through the clutter.
  • Use typography, colour theory, and creative thinking to conceptualize the design and layout, all while consistently applying corporate brand guidelines.
  • Determine communication mediums, purpose, and targeted audience to guide the design process.
  • Support brand communication campaigns through newsletter and presentation design, social and digital content, video concepts and editing, and campaign materials, including core brand assets.
  • Advocate and create user-centred, data-driven design.
  • Contribute to the design and creation of communications templates for bulletins, FAQs, product sheets and more.
  • Manage and update a broker-facing microsite and internal Sharepoint site.
  • Collaborate with US design counterparts to maximize efficiency and ensure consistency where appropriate.
