Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Scope, develop and design training solutions to meet defined business objectives, within specified timescales and budget. This will include interactive eLearning, eBriefs, podcasts, interactive PDFs and video scripts and content amongst others.
  • Manage relationships with subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate as well as meeting their requirements and those of the learner.
  • Taking account for producing engaging content that is timely, high-quality, within budget and timescales.
  • Identify ways to improve current content to align across the Halfords brand and to iteratively improve the learning solution.
  • Work collaboratively across our One Halfords Family to ensure all learning solutions, digital and non-digital, are aligned to embed learning across the business.
  • Work in conjunction with third party providers where needed, to support the build of solutions commissioned externally.
  • Use innovative tools and implement processes to improve the design and curation of learning content.
  • Customer focused at all times, understanding colleague needs, constraints and challenges, keeping them at the forefront when taking actions or making decisions.
  • Keep abreast of latest tools, trends and best practice, sharing expertise with the wider Skills Development team to enable continuous improvement of our learning solutions.
  • Attention to detail and ensuring appropriate policies and legal checking where required, is implemented and compliant for created content.
