Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the Group Corporate Finance & International team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for M&A activities and legacy portfolio management.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management.
  • Oversee the finance work stream for each transaction, ensuring rigorous financial due diligence, collaborating and challenging Group Corporate Development and business areas in implementing inorganic projects.
  • Conduct and review quantitative and qualitative analysis of business valuations to ensure comprehensive assessment of financial risks and impacts, including tax and capital considerations.
  • Develop and review accounting treatments for acquisitions in compliance with relevant IFRS standards.
  • Lead the management and mitigation of tail risks from disposed international businesses, developing and driving optimal solutions for country exits and project management through to liquidation.
