Responsibilities

  • Grow Givaudan business across the scope of L&R Europe by managing top and bottom lines
  • Manage Country (Area) Managers/Directors and company representatives within L&R Europe, create a performing environment with motivated accomplished individuals
  • Lead and develop L&R Sales and Marketing team, including training, Talent Management, and succession planning of Country (Area) Managers/Directors and other key team members
  • Develop relationships with senior Level owners and management at key accounts
  • Build, communicate and implement a growth strategy for L&R Europe; approve the strategic plans for key accounts in the area of responsibility; identify and create opportunities for Givaudan to participate in core lists of all strategic accounts
  • Drive internal efforts to execute strategy, collaborating with Regional Management, Creative Fragrance Management, Perfumery, Marketing, Consumer Research, Applications and Technology, ensuring the most efficient management of Givaudan resources, setting priorities based on profitability analysis
  • Monitor competitor activity
  • Monitor Sales and Gross Profit Margin (including KPIs and budget) as well as expense budget, taking corrective actions when necessary to ensure business goals are achieved
  • Support Country Managers/Directors in managing pricing negotiations within specific geographic area, in accordance with company guidelines
  • Ensure implementation of negotiated pricing agreements; support Customer Care in managing and optimising Supply Chain; support Credit Management in collecting receivables
