Responsibilities

  • To grow FISITA’s membership, member engagement and retention through delivering and developing the FISITA membership value proposition in alignment with the new-era phase of FISITA’s post-covid development plans.
  • To deliver significant progress in the targeted recruitment of Corporate Members, aligned with year-on-year business planned growth, while continuously evaluating and evolving the member benefit proposition.
  • To ensure all members, new and existing have a specific, current and onward engagement and benefit plan which is delivered efficiently and effectively and subject to continuous review and improvement.
  • To evolve the traditional national engineering Society Membership of FISITA, providing a relevant mix of engagement opportunity, international connection and opportunity for the Society and its members.
  • To review and develop the FISITA Strategic Partnership programme, enabling relevant, tailored partnerships to evolve focussed upon the unique opportunities prioritised with each existing and new Strategic Partner.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues in the development, introduction, roll-out and scale-up of the FISITA Academic Membership programme.
  • Be the main point of contact for all FISITA member liaison and engagement, welcoming opportunity and proactively, creatively developing the external perception of FISITA as the relevant membership organisation for the international technology of mobility community.
  • Engage with FISITA members and relevant external stakeholders in order to develop relationships and establish an expectation and aspiration for commercial partnering with and via FISITA.
  • Establish and sustain clear and process-driven plans which deliver against objective based KPIs and company targets while maintaining consistent records through which appropriate reports can be generated for management reporting.
  • Develop innovative and progressive plans to maximise commercial opportunities and the delivery of value-add benefit to potential and current members/partners, while sensitively growing the long-term, sustainable financial return to FISITA in-line with business plans.
  • To work independently in developing vision and operational plans, to self-regulate performance and continuous improvement, while contributing as an integral part of the FISITA staff team and the international FISITA community.
  • Deliver the following against all FISITA membership activities: Create, develop and manage delivery of strategic membership prospecting, recruitment, engagement and retention activities utilising industry knowledge and networks, FISITA member relations, events and associated opportunities.
  • Develop relevant member target lists and maintain the central CRM of existing members, utilising intelligence gathered to maximise FISITA’s member knowledge and engagement strategies.
  • Deliver point of contact continuity to existing members, growing the relevance of FISITA through development of individual colleague relations within each Corporate Member company and National Society.
  • Review and develop appropriate plans to sustain and develop engagement with existing and potential new members including targeting of specific technical areas for new member recruitment activity.
  • Co-creation within Marketing and Communications team of promotional materials such as social media assets, flyers, brochures, videos.
  • Ensure business administration is kept up to date through collaboration and communication with Finance, Communications and Membership areas of the business.
