What is the location for the Head of Service position?

What are the primary responsibilities of the Head of Service?
The Head of Service will be responsible for the operational management of all SAS assets within the sub-region, engaging with partners at a strategic level, and ensuring performance achievement and service delivery.
What experience is required for this position?
The successful candidate should have a proven track record at middle management level, such as an ASM or equivalent management experience, along with demonstrated achievements in operations and strategic objectives.
Who will the Head of Service report to?
The Head of Service will report to the Deputy Regional Director and may also deputise for them as needed.
What changes are being made to the working hours?
NHS Scotland is reducing the full-time working week from 37.5 hours to 37 hours per week starting 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. Some service areas may initially require up to an additional 30 minutes of work per week until adjustments to rosters or working patterns are made.
