Responsibilities

  • To provide leadership and support to the Service Line Senior team, who in turn lead the staff, services, and partners of the service line, through a collaborative, visionary, motivational and problem-solving approach.
  • They will provide clarity of vision and values, and work with the Service Line Senior team to ensure that the service line meets performance, quality and financial objectives.
  • The postholder will work closely with the service line leadership quartet, under the leadership of the Clinical Director, to deliver on the service line business plan, bring about quality improvements, and meet essential standards of service delivery.
  • They will represent the service line within the Trust, and externally in partnership meetings at place, system, and provider collaboratives.
  • The postholder will be expected to take a significant leadership role in the relevant areas of the Integrated Transformation Project; working closely with all service line staff, stakeholders, business and finance partners, to bring about improvements and sustainable changes in service delivery.
