The primary goal is to help each resident have a great day, every day, while promoting their health and wellness in accordance with the organization's philosophy, objectives, and standards.
What qualifications do I need to apply for this position?
Candidates must have a recognized nursing license (LPN) in good standing, excellent leadership skills, proficiency in written and verbal English, proficient computer skills (such as Word and Excel), and preferably 2 or more years of experience working with seniors.
Is experience in a union setting considered important for this role?

How often will the resident’s plan of care be updated?
The resident’s plan of care should be updated every 6 months or as required based on the individual's health and wellness needs.
Will I have responsibilities related to staff management?
Yes, you will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, selecting new employees, conducting performance appraisals, and overseeing staff scheduling.
What type of training is required for this position?
All candidates are required to complete mandatory training and education as outlined by Verve Senior Living.
How will I contribute to the overall budget management for the department?
You will provide input for the preparation of capital and operational budgets, manage department finances including inventory management and purchasing, and review financial statements for any negative variances.

You will be expected to build internal and external relationships with residents, other departments, families, hospitals, and government departments while advocating and collaborating to achieve optimal wellness outcomes.
