What are the working hours for the Healthcare Assistant position?
The position is full-time, requiring 37.5 hours per week on an internal rotation basis.

Is there training provided for new Healthcare Assistants?
Yes, there will be support through Trust Induction, completion of the Care Certificate, and guidance from our Practice Development Sister.

You should ensure patients' safety, comfort, and welfare at all times and report any accidents, incidents, or losses to the nurse in charge immediately.

What annual training is required for Healthcare Assistants?
Healthcare Assistants must attend yearly updates on all statutory training, including basic life support and manual handling and moving training.
