Responsibilities

  • Provide a high standard of administrative support to the Workforce Team.
  • To work under the direction of the HR Officer, HR Managers and HR Business Partners.
  • To assist in the provision of a comprehensive, efficient, and effective Workforce Advisory Service.
  • Working from the Trust’s policies and procedures, provide basic advice and guidance to staff and line managers to resolve day to day workforce queries.
  • To be the first point of contact in providing basic advice and guidance on day-to-day workforce queries, working within the boundaries of the Trust’s Policies and Procedures, signposting when necessary and escalating to a senior colleague when appropriate.
  • Provide a comprehensive administrative support service to the Workforce Team in all aspects of case work, projects, and Agenda for Change.
  • Effective use of the IT systems to collage and produce the workforce management information/metrics, ie. appraisal and mandatory training figures etc.
  • Take a proactive approach in arranging meetings and hearings within agreed timescales, liaising with those involved and securing appropriate rooms when required.
  • Produce accurate records of minutes, either handwritten and/or typed, during meetings/hearings and distribute to the appropriate sources.
  • Arrange dates and venues for training sessions and provide administrative support.
  • Copy and issue hearing packs by the required deadlines.
