Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of HR Generalists and HR Specialists.
  • Develop and nurture strong and productive partnerships with a diverse group of senior managers and executives as well as with other groups within HR.
  • Have a strong understanding of the TFS business and the specific needs of assigned business units applying this knowledge to create effective partnerships with managers/leaders and integrate short- and long-term needs of business units with HR/talent-related solutions.
  • Use Workforce Planning & Analytics (WP&A) tools (e.g., segmentation framework, headcount plans, etc.) to assist assigned business unit in making workforce-related decisions. Help business managers/leaders understand and build workforce plans, including identifying current state, future state, and gaps.
  • Lead the education, implementation and follow-through of all existing HR programs, including but not limited to: Performance Management (Driving Performance) and corrective action, Pay for Performance (compensation programs such as merit, growth, bonus, discretionary awards), learning/development programs, as well as talent/succession planning.
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to effectively and efficiently staff open positions.
  • Provide advice and counsel along with Team Member Relations team to resolve team member concerns. Also partner with the leaves and disability management team on LOA cases.
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned such as Kaizen opportunities, process improvement, etc.
